Dedicated to anyone who is, was, or ever will be a child. And in memory of my Grandfather Alfred Colt and his imaginary dictionary.

This is a tale for every body about the Infinipede, a fantastical creature with countless legs, who peacefully moves through life, and with the help of kindhearted Sally McGlow, teaches the folks living in Snoo a thing or two about sharing, teamwork, and helping one's neighbor.

Genevieve's colorful illustrations - samples on right - are featured throughout the book.

Excerpt from The Story of the Infinipede:

It seems the Infinipede
Feels right at home in Snoo
But the people want to scare it.
They don't know what else to do.

Late at night
when they should be sleeping,
The villagers
are very quietly creeping
around the snoozing creature
who doesn't know
they're putting on
an emergency fireworks show.

Crack! Ka-blam! Pa-pow! Ka-blooey!

Lights are flashing
With thunderous sounds.
Scraps from the explosions
Float to the ground.

The Infinipede smiles
as it stretches in its slumber.
It isn't awakened
by the firework thunder.

Well, the visitors are frustrated
To say the least.
They can't get rid of
the many-legged beast.
